Artwork Description: A childhood memory of the Nautilus at a theme park when I was just 5 years old. This inspiration of the sea, and the great depths of mystery where we can only minutely glance is romantic and enchanting. Captain Nemo is a complex character with both villainous and heroic capacity, and in many ways the modern man who is faced with the dilemma of exploration at the hands of sacrifice. The steampunk tones of a classic novel is blended in art with the Victorian and Industrial Age. There were two things that I wanted to stand out, Captain Nemo, and the fated Nautilus.
